Our natural lake salt is harvested in summer months by simply scraping fresh salt crystals from the lake surface. The harvest takes place in the natural seasonal cycle. After harvesting, the lake salt is washed to remove any foreign substance and then dried. This cleaning process does not affect the characteristics or the mineral content of the salt. Anti-caking agent is added to avoid lumping.
PDV Rock Salt is a free-flowing high purity salt used in a wide range of applications in food industry. PDV salt is produced by evaporation of purified brine using vacuum method and then dried. It contains anti-caking agent to prevent lumping.
PDV Sea Salt is a free-flowing high purity salt used in a wide range of applications in food industry. Sea water is first collected in harvesting ponds and evaporated with the help of sun and wind. Solar evaporation is followed by saturated brine going through crystallization process. Sea salt is than harvested and washed to make sure impurities are removed. Finally, vacuum method is applied to get ultra-pure sea salt. It contains anti-caking agent to prevent lumping.
